With nearly 10 tons of grapes harvested and in fermentation bins or in steel tanks, we are waiting with bated breath to see what magic Luke and Matthieu will produce with our fruit. As we love to tell visitors to our tasting room “We don’t buy grapes, we don’t sell grapes. We just grow them and turn them into wine”. We have finished the harvest; now the waiting begins. When we delivered our last grapes, we were able to taste earlier products already. However, we have resisted the temptation to check on the remainder of the wines until we are told that fermentation has been completed and we can get a good idea of what we have in store.
